As you walk along the  riverbank, amongst the trees, the river is aglistening ribbon. Shallow, but fast and broad, bending around rocks and rippling over exposed bedrock…

Until suddenly a rustling whisper becomes a gentle roar, and the river drops from sight…

Only to re-appear as a million glistening rainbows, spray spiraling outwards towards the shore, radiant in the sunshine…
